The FIRST project - Finding, Investigating, Redress and Support aims to increase the reporting of cases of sexual abuse of children, as well as to increase the quality of follow-up support to victims.
Implemented by a consortium with a leading partner, the Right to Childhood Foundation and partners, the PULS Foundation, the Gender Alternatives Foundation, the Youth Initiative for Sustainable Development Association, Designer Bulgaria LTD and Lightmedia LTD. It is co-financed by the European Union under the program "Rights, Equality and Citizenship", according to contract 810247-FIRST-REC-AG -2017 / REC-RDAP-GBV-AG-2017.
Within the project, the current website has been created, containing resources suitable for children aged 4 to 6, 7 to 13 and adolescents up to 17, parents and professionals, consulting teams of lawyers and trauma therapists have been formed to provide consultations to children who have been sexually abused or at risk and their families. Consultations are provided both remotely and in the following cities - Varna, Kardzhali, Pernik, Plovdiv, Ruse, Sofia and Sliven.
